Can I also use a PES syrinefilter instead of PVDF

Can anyone tell me or i can use a sterile PES (Polyethersulfone) syrinefilter to filter my UG injectables, instead of aPVDF – Polyvinylidene fluoride filter.

as you know filtering may make the solution weaker, that is common sense, you will never be able to purge the filter by 100%, and the membranes itself will bind some of the hormone, but at most you are talking about maybe 3% with a PES membrane, if you use PVDF (Most of the ones we use) it is probably no more then 1%.

I would rather have a 1% loss of potency then risk an infection or even just a painfull injection.
